✨ WOMEN OF JAZZ & SOUL ✨

On October 3, I’ll be doing an acoustic show at Wicked Wolf in Long Beach for a special night celebrating the incredible women who have shaped jazz, soul and blues. 🎶

I’ll be performing songs made famous by some of the powerhouse women who have inspired me throughout my musical journey, alongside some of my own originals.

Think Etta James, Eva Cassidy, Aretha Franklin and more — timeless songs, powerful stories and a whole lot of soul. ❤️

📍 Wicked Wolf, Long Beach
📅 October 3 at 8.30pm

Come spend the night celebrating the Women of Jazz & Soul with me. 🎤✨

IT’S OFFICIAL… OWN EVERY SCAR IS ON VINYL and CD🖤💿

There’s something so special about holding an album in your hands — the artwork, the record, the songs, the stories… all of it.

Own Every Scar is such a personal body of work for me, and seeing it pressed on vinyl feels like another little dream coming to life.

The vinyl is officially available to order now, and this is a limited run — once they’re gone, they’re gone!

If you’ve connected with the music and want to own a physical piece of this chapter, I’d love for one of these to find its way into your collection. ❤️

IT’S HERE! ❤️‍🔥 OWN EVERY SCAR! THE ALBUM IS OUT NOW!

Today I finally get to share this album with you, and it feels only right to celebrate with a glimpse into where the title track came to life at Royal Studios in Memphis.

Recording Own Every Scar in a studio with so much soul and history was something I’ll never forget. Working with the incredible Boo Mitchell, in collaboration with Darin James, and hearing the song come alive with those unmistakable Memphis horns took something I wrote from the heart and made it bigger than I ever imagined.

This album was created across Melbourne, Nashville, Memphis and Los Angeles, and every song carries a piece of the journey.

Own Every Scar is about the things we survive, the lessons we carry and learning not to hide the parts of ourselves that tell the story of how we got here.

Today, it belongs to you. ❤️

🎧 OWN EVERY SCAR is OUT NOW on all streaming platforms.

Turn it up, listen from beginning to end, and let me know which song speaks to you most.

And remember… you don’t have to hide your scars. Own every one of them.

Throwback to Memphis, recording the title track of my new album, “Own Every Scar,” at the legendary @royalstudiosmemphis. 🎙️✨

There’s something incredibly special about bringing a song you’ve written into a studio with so much history in its walls. Working with the incredible Boo Mitchell, in collaboration with Darin James, was an absolute highlight of making this record.

I already loved what we had created, but the moment those Memphis horns came in… the song went to a whole other level. 🔥🎺

Here’s a little glimpse behind the scenes of the recording process. Thanks to all of the musicians on this track @mfrankl3 @mcmillanlannie @kameronwhalum @kirksmothers @darindroc @mat.robb

“Own Every Scar” is out THIS FRIDAY, along with the full album, and I genuinely can’t wait for you to finally hear what we’ve been working on. ❤️

I also have a limited run of vinyl, CDs and Own Every Scar shirts available. These are being produced once only, so when they’re gone, they’re gone!

Get in quick if you want to own a little piece of this album with me. 💿🖤

Sometimes you can look at yourself in the mirror and see exactly what you look like… but underneath that reflection, there could be a thousand scars no one else can see.

The heartbreaks. The battles. The mistakes. The moments that changed you. The things you survived quietly. The pieces of yourself you had to rebuild.

That’s what Own Every Scar is about.

This album isn’t about pretending the scars aren’t there. It’s about looking at yourself, all of yourself and saying, this is me.

Every scar carries a story. Every scar has shaped me. And I’m learning not to hide them, but to own them.

My new album OWN EVERY SCAR is out September 18. ❤️‍🔥

I can’t wait for you to hear the stories behind mine.

It’s hard to put into words just how much this album means to me.
Own Every Scar isn’t just a collection of songs. It’s a piece of my life.
It holds the heartbreak, the healing, the moments I doubted myself, the times I had to find the strength to keep going, and the lessons that came from learning to accept every part of who I am.

This album was created across Melbourne, Nashville, Memphis and Los Angeles, and somehow, every city holds a different piece of the journey that brought me here.
There were times I wondered if I would ever get to this moment. But now, as I get ready to release these songs into the world, I realise that every setback, every change, every imperfect chapter had a purpose.

That’s what Own Every Scar means to me.

Not hiding the things that have shaped us.
Not wishing we could rewrite the past.
But standing in who we are today and saying: this is me, scars and all.
September 18. ❤️
I can’t wait for you to finally hear it.

What a beautiful day celebrating music, community and culture! 🇵🇭❤️
It was such a pleasure to perform as part of HiFi at @kanto.corner today in LA, celebrating their 1-year anniversary and having the opportunity to celebrate and share my Filipino culture through music.

There’s something incredibly special about being able to connect with my heritage through what I love most. 🎶✨
Thank you for having me and congratulations on an amazing first year! Here’s to many more. 🥂

Last night, I had the incredible honor of meeting the legendary @thegloriajones. The voice and songwriter behind the timeless classic “Tainted Love.” ❤️🎶

I also had the pleasure of watching her fascinating Q&A as part of the Soul Invasion Weekender, hearing stories and memories from an incredible career and a truly remarkable life in music.

A beautiful human being!

Sometimes you just have to step into the light, let yourself be free, and see where it takes you… ✨

No rules. No holding back. Just being unapologetically me. 💫

And lately, I’ve been keeping a little secret… 👀

Something exciting is coming. Something I’ve been waiting to share.

Soon. Very soon. 🤫✨

Stay curious. 🖤

Maybe the problem isn’t that the world is small...
Maybe you’ve just been looking at it from inside a bubble. 🫧

Go somewhere new.
Talk to someone different.
Take the chance.
Pop the bubble.

You might be surprised by how much life has been waiting for you on the outside. ✨
